Osotspa Foundation Continues Empowering People with Disabilities in Uthai Thani. Marking the Third Province in the Program

July 4, 2025 – The Osotspa Foundation has provided vocational equipment to 41 people with disabilities across 7 occupations in Uthai Thani Province, making it the third province supported under the “มอบโอกาส สร้างอาชีพ” project, now in its third consecutive year. The program aims to create sustainable career opportunities for 150 people with disabilities in 2025.

Mr. Thana Chaiprasit, Vice Chairman of the Osotspa Foundation, led the Osotspa executive team and the Osotspa Employees Club in delivering the equipment. The event was honored by the presence of Mr. Theerapat Kachamat, Governor of Uthai Thani Province, and Ms. Siriwan Yentang, Provincial Social Development and Human Security Officer of Uthai Thani. The ceremony took place at the Uthai Thani Provincial Public Hall.

Since 2023, the Osotspa Foundation has expanded on Osotspa Public Company Limited's commitment under Section 35 of the Persons with Disabilities Empowerment Act, launching the “มอบโอกาส สร้างอาชีพ” initiative to provide support beyond legal obligations. The project has since helped over 315 people with disabilities in 7 provinces, enabling them to earn income and live with dignity.

Now in its third year, the project continues to thrive through close collaboration with the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, aligning with the government’s policy to enhance the quality of life for people with disabilities. This year marks the first time the Osotspa Foundation has introduced its career empowerment program to Uthai Thani Province, where most participants are interested in livestock and agriculture, particularly raising chickens, ducks, and fish. The Osotspa Foundation hopes that the knowledge gained from training, along with the vocational equipment provided, will equip people with disabilities with valuable skills to sustainably generate income and care for themselves.
