Osotspa Achieves Goal of Planting 10,000 Trees Creating Green Spaces for a Better Quality of Life in Bangkok

Osotspa Public Company Limited continues to uphold its commitment to the environment and urban quality of life by completing the planting of 10,000 trees under the “OSOTSPA Go Green – Planting Trees for Bangkok” project, which began in 2022. The initiative aims to create a “green wall” to filter dust and reduce air pollution that affects the health of Bangkok residents.
The project has been implemented continuously since 2022, when 2,500 trees were planted in vacant areas under the Srinagarindra–Krungthep Kreetha overpass. In 2023, another 2,500 trees were planted under the Yellow Line sky train route from Lam Sali Intersection Station to Khlong Kalantan Station, as well as in areas adjacent to Piyapirom Park. In 2025, the final phase saw the planting of 5,000 additional trees at Nong Bon Lake Park and Suan Luang Rama IX Park, providing recreational and exercise areas while serving as a natural barrier to reduce air pollution. The tree-planting activity was led by Osotspa CEO Wannipa Bhakdibutr, together with employee volunteers, and honored by the presence of Chadchart Sittipunt, Governor of Bangkok, as the ceremony’s chairperson.
The OSOTSPA Go Green project successfully reached its target of planting 10,000 trees in support of Bangkok Metropolitan Administration’s policy to work with private sector partners in creating a greener city and healthier environment. This aligns with the “One Million Trees” initiative, aimed at building green spaces and dust-filtering barriers across Bangkok, reflecting Osotspa’s dedication to being a driving force in enhancing quality of life while fostering sustainable community, social, and environmental development.
