For over 130 years, Osotspa products have been part of Thai people’s lives. But this bond goes beyond delivering health and wellness products. Osotspa has integrated business operations with sustainability in every dimension, under the belief that “business growth must go hand in hand with creating positive impacts on society while minimizing environmental footprints.”

Since 2019, Osotspa has set a clear sustainability (ESG) framework with five focus areas, defined measurable targets, and established robust monitoring processes. By embedding sustainability DNA from leadership to employees across the organization, Osotspa has now successfully achieved its first-phase sustainability goals that truly turning vision into impact in empowering healthier lives.

Tasty and Healthy Together

With consumers increasingly health-conscious, Osotspa has prioritized Consumer Health and Well-Being. Through product innovation, all beverages have been reformulated to reduce sugar content from an average of 12.5% to below 6%, while maintaining great taste and adding functional benefits. This vision aligns with government policy to reduce sugar consumption and reinforces the company’s leadership in promoting consumer health and wellbeing.

Lighter for the Earth

Osotspa has committed to Sustainable Packaging, aiming for all packaging to be recyclable, reusable, or biodegradable by 2030. By 2025, the company has already eliminated PVC from all packaging and introduced designs that use less plastic. Examples include lighter Ole’ candy film packaging, Babi Mild packaging, and a 15% weight reduction in M-150 glass bottles, all while ensuring durability and reducing natural resource use and lowering greenhouse gas emissions in production and transportation.

Growing Together with Partners

Recognizing the importance of collaboration, Osotspa has promoted a Sustainable Supply Chain by supporting over 1,000 business partners and smallholder farmers. Initiatives include programs for sugarcane farmers to adopt sustainable farming practices, optimize resource use, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and deliver safe, environmentally friendly produce.

Protecting the Environment and Tackling Climate Change

Water is a key raw material in beverage production, and Osotspa set a goal to reduce water usage intensity by 35% per revenue. As of today, the company has achieved 35.04% reduction compared to the 2018 baseline. On Energy and Climate Management, Osotspa aimed to reduce Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 15% per revenue versus the 2022 baseline. The company has already surpassed this, achieving a 44.33% reduction, significantly exceeding its target.

These achievements have earned Osotspa international recognition, including the Industry Mover award from S&P Global for two consecutive years (2023–2024). In 2024, Osotspa was the only beverage company globally to receive this honor.

“Our success stems from building a culture of learning and collaboration across employees, partners, and government agencies. Sustainability is no longer just a target on paper, but part of our DNA and daily operations. These tangible results are the outcome of shared commitment, driving us forward toward long-term sustainability,” said Ms. Wannipa Bhakdibutr, Chief Executive Officer of Osotspa.

Next Steps of 2026- 2030 Sustainability Roadmap

Moving forward, Osotspa is broadening its sustainability framework in response to stakeholder expectations, global beverage industry megatrends, and societal and environmental challenges. While continuing with the five existing focus areas, two new priorities are added:

  • Human Capital Development and Labor Practices – Embedding the A-C-T corporate culture to unlock limitless growth, while promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion. With employees as the heart of the company, their awareness and engagement will be the key to translating sustainability policies and strategies into effective action.
  • Waste Management – Shifting from waste reduction and landfill diversion to creating new value from waste across the value chain. A key focus is recycling glass bottles to support a circular economy, reduce environmental impacts, and create long-term economic and industrial value.

By expanding its sustainability framework and pursuing its 2026–2030 roadmap, Osotspa reaffirms its leadership in Thailand’s beverage industry, committed to advancing sustainable development alongside business growth, social progress, and environmental stewardship.
